Relationship Therapy

Relationships can be deeply rewarding, and also complex and challenging. It is normal for all relationships to have ups and downs but sometimes the difficulties become deep-rooted and feel very hard to understand or change. Talking through these challenges can feel risky or emotionally charged. At these times it can be helpful to have a contained and impartial space to explore.

My role in relationship therapy is not to arbitrate, but to support each person to feel heard, and to hear the other. Together, we’ll explore your underlying emotions and needs, to support healthier communication, greater understanding, and a relationship that feels more connected and fulfilling.

Relationship therapy is for anyone who wants to better understand, strengthen, or navigate an important relationship in their life. This might include romantic relationships — monogamous, polyamorous, or open — as well as friendships, partnerships, co-parenting relationships, or family bonds. I provide affirmative support for those in different relationship structures and offer a BDSM and kink-aware practice.

I offer support for a wide range of issues and presentations and you are welcome to bring any topic, but below are a few areas of focus:

  • Conflict
  • Communication
  • Infidelity or Betrayal
  • Sex & Desire
  • Connection
  • Life transitions
  • Codependancy
  • Co-parenting
  • Ending well
  • Opening relationships
